Tarryn is the heart of Brave Bodies. Her passion for supporting children and families with unique and challenging disabilities is the reason our services exist today. Alongside Ruan, her husband, she started Brave Bodies in 2023 with the aim to provide high-quality, evidence-based, family-centred physiotherapy services to Busselton, Bunbury, Margaret River and surrounds. Tarryn also provides her services to Geographe Education Support Centre, supporting the primary and high school in creating physiotherapy programs meeting each individual child's needs, or supporting external clinicians to implement their programs. Tarryn has a broad range of experience in paediatric physiotherapy in both very remote Australia and metropolitan areas. In her spare time, she loves living in Busselton, tending to her fruit trees, and enjoying a warm cappuccino with Ruan or a friend. Tarryn is currently available for home-visits under NDIS.
Co-owner of Brave Bodies, and husband to Tarryn, Ruan has a passion for supporting children, teens, and young-adults to their next goal. He loves to empower kids and teenagers through physiotherapy, knowing that accomplishing physical challenges is a way to build confidence in a myriad of other life domains. With a broad range of experience in both very remote Australia and metropolitan settings, he has gained valuable insights into the complex needs of families and children. Ruan and Tarryn moved to beautiful Busselton in 2023, and they are passionate about improving quality and access to paediatric allied health services in the region. In his spare time, Ruan enjoys the outdoors that the South-West has to offer, but the best time is going through life's adventures with Tarryn. Ruan is currently available for home-visits under NDIS.
