Paediatric Occupational Therapy: Developing Skills for Everyday Life

Our Paediatric Occupational Therapy focuses on empowering children with the skills they need to thrive in their daily 'occupations' – playing, learning, self-care, and socialising. We use creative, evidence-based strategies to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and overall independence

Our Occupational Therapy services can help with:

  • Fine motor skills (handwriting, using tools)

  • Self-care skills (dressing, feeding, toileting)

Aimed at teenagers with special needs, this group focuses on improving overall strength, fitness, and confidence, often serving as a stepping stone to community fitness programs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What age group do you see?

We provide service to babies, teens and young adults from 0-25 years old. We are a paediatric service but we recognise that some young adults still need a paediatric approach to their care.

What conditions do you see?

We see a wide range of conditions and diagnoses. These include but are not limited to: developmental delays, baby neck or head issues, sporting injuries, scoliosis, hypermobility, autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, genetic disorders plus more. Please contact if you are unsure if we can help!

How often are therapy sessions scheduled?

Each child's goals, needs, and family capacity is unique. Therefore we take a tailored and individualised approach to your child. We can provide intensive therapies, coach you as the parent or their care givers in the therapy strategies or provide maintenance therapy.

Can parents be involved in the therapy process?

For sure, we always encourage parents to get involved with their children to get the best results. Parents are provided tools and resources to guide their children at home.
