Pricing & Cancellations

Brave Bodies Pricing & Cancellations

We believe families deserve to know exactly what therapy costs before they book — no surprises, no hidden fees. Below you'll find our current session rates, how funding works, and our cancellation policy.

If you have any questions about fees or funding, please ask. We're always happy to talk it through before you commit to anything.

Physiotherapy: Private or Self-Managed NDIS

Our physiotherapy fees depend on session length and the experience level of your therapist. All sessions are charged pro-rata, so you only pay for the time you book.

Session Length Standard Physiotherapist Senior Physiotherapist
30 minutes $125.00 $135.00
45 minutes $187.50 $202.50
60 minutes $250.00 $270.00

NDIS Physiotherapy

We follow the NDIS price guideline: $183.99 for face-to-face services and billable admin or reporting. $92 per hour for travel.

Occupational Therapy Fees

OT is currently delivered by a senior clinician at the Bunbury clinic. New OT clients begin with a structured Initial Assessment before ongoing sessions.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is charged at $250 per hour, with sessions available in 30, 45, and 60 minute lengths charged pro-rata.

Every new OT client begins with an Initial Assessment. This is a structured package designed to give us — and you — a clear picture of your child's strengths, challenges, and goals before therapy begins.

Initial Assessment Includes Duration Fee
Parent Interview — in person or via telehealth 60 minutes $250.00
Child & Parent Assessment — Bunbury clinic 60 minutes $250.00
Written OT Pathway Report 30 minutes $125.00
Total Initial Assessment package 2.5 hours $625.00

Your OT Pathway Report is included in the Initial Assessment fee. It sets out what we observed, the goals we've agreed on together, and our recommendations for what comes next.

A 50% deposit is taken when you book your first OT session. Your card is then securely stored so future sessions and any applicable fees can be processed without you needing to re-enter your details.

Ongoing OT sessions after the Initial Assessment are charged at $250 per hour, pro-rata.

How Session Time Works

Your session fee covers both the time we spend with your child and the clinical documentation that goes with it. A 60-minute session typically includes 45 minutes of face-to-face therapy and 15 minutes for your therapist to write up notes, update your child's plan, and prepare for the next session.

This documentation isn't optional — it's what keeps your child's care safe, consistent, and properly recorded. It's included in your session fee rather than charged separately.

Reports and additional documentation

Brief updates, short letters, and routine documentation under 15 minutes are included in your session fee at no extra charge.

Longer pieces of work — NDIS reports, school reports, funding applications, or detailed assessments — are charged at your therapist's standard hourly rate, pro-rata for the time taken.

We will always discuss this with you and agree the scope before starting any work that will be charged separately. You'll never receive an unexpected report fee.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and changes: Private Paying Families

We know that life with children is beautifully unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both your family and our therapists, who reserve dedicated time for your child's session. Please give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the time to another family who may be waiting.

Notice Given Fee Charged
More than 24 hours No fee
Between 12 and 24 hours 50% of the scheduled session fee
Less than 12 hours 100% of the scheduled session fee
No-show (no notice given) 100% of the scheduled session fee

When fees are waived

New clients: Your first cancellation is always waived, no questions asked.

  • Existing clients: Every family receives one automatic waiver per rolling 12-month period. You don't need to ask — we apply it for you.

  • Child illness: We will never penalise a family for keeping a sick child home. Illness waivers are available up to twice per rolling 12-month period with no medical certificate required, provided you let us know before your appointment start time. From the third illness cancellation within the same 12 months, a medical certificate is required for the fee to be waived.

To let us know about a cancellation, please call or SMS 0430 042 989, or email [email protected] — as early as you can, and always before your appointment start time.

Cancellations and changes: NDIS Families

For NDIS families, we follow the NDIS cancellation policy. A 100% cancellation fee is charged for cancellations:

  • 48 hours prior to the appointment or 2 business days (weekends are excluded from the notice period).

  • Failure to attend an appointment without providing prior notice.

Payment and cards on file

We securely store your card details through Splose Payments (powered by Stripe) so that session fees and any applicable cancellation fees can be processed without you needing to re-enter your details each time. Your card details are never visible to our staff and are held under Stripe's security standards.
